Travelling to Bulgaria

rating of your choice. Then over dinner, courtesy of BPS, we can discuss in
detail, your preferences. Then on day two, accompany you to the properties you
are wishing to view.

Bulgaria Air and British Airways have regular direct flights from London to
Sofia. Both BA and Bulgaria Air fly to Sofia and Bulgaria Air flies to Varna,
which is the most convenient way to get to the Black Sea coast.
From May to October a number of charter flights are available from most UK
cities. Check with your local tour operator who will be pleased to assist.
Bexx Air, the German low - cost carrier operates from a number of European
cities to Sofia and Bourgas. It is understood that by the end of 2005 Ryan Air
and/or Easy Jet will start flying to Bulgaria, as well as a number of other
European low-cost airlines.
Balkan Holidays offers both charter flights to Varna and Bourgas and package
holidays to Bulgaria. During May to October a number of chartered flights
operate between UK and Bulgaria. Flights from London, Bristol and Manchester to
Varna are available from Western Air.
A direct flight from London airports to Bulgaria take about 3 hours. When you
arrive at Sofia International Airport, make sure you use a licensed taxi from
the airport. Taxis in Bulgaria are inexpensive and a taxi trip from the airport
to downtown Sofia takes about 15-20 minutes and should cost no more than 10 BG
Lev.
